Our Mission
My 180 Youth Program, Inc. is committed to empowering youth, ages 10 to 18, to live fully, by cultivating mentoring relationships and developing a plan.
Our History
My 180 Youth Program, Inc. was founded in July 2012 by Roy Jefferson. Drawing from his personal, career, and volunteer experiences, Roy recognized the importance of providing young people with enriching experiences and positive adult role models while removing barriers to accessibility for all families. Our program employs a relationship-centered approach to help youth ages 10 to 18 achieve valuable experiences that contribute to their overall well-being.

Why Mentoring
Adolescence is a time of growth and discovery. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, youth aged 10 to 19 comprised about 13% of the U.S. population in recent years, which translates to roughly 42 million youth. During adolescence, young people are discovering life goals and making plans for their future. As they journey through these formative years, they will face both positive and negative choices. From abstaining from risky behavior to exploring college and career options, a mentor can provide crucial support and encouragement. We believe that through mentoring, we can establish support systems that empower youth to fulfill their dreams.
